MAGIC SCOTLAND

Scotland, one of the last areas of Europe where nature is untouched: wild rugged, often where storms roar the coasts, deep bays, empty beaches hardly, rugged, bare mountains, moors. With weather, the Country in a spell of light and shadow can dive. But what would be Scotland without the Scots, this humorous and hospitable people, so proud of their country.

After travelling a total of 7 months in Scotland, in this beautiful corner of the earth, I suppose I can take you in my Multivision report to different spots: on the highlands, in addition to the Hebrides and the Orkney Islands as well as the cultural capital Edinburgh, with its big festivals. I was to the two festivals, the Fringe and the Military Tattoo, as a special guest of the organizers invited to attend as photographer. In Speyside, I take you in one of the oldest whiskey distilleries and of course to the Scottish Highland Games with their original competitions. From the vibrant Glasgow I march over 150 kilometres on the beautiful West Highland Way out into nature to the heart of Scotland. I continue to paddle with my kayak on the Caledonian Canal and across the country on Loch Ness. Much more can be seen in the excellent, refreshing and amusing photo reportage. A beautiful declaration of love for Scotland and its inhabitants!
